Available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Science, Graduate Diploma, Master of Applied Science or Masters programs.

Introduction to the cultivation of marine, brackish and freshwater organisms including aspects of biology, ecology, technology and economics that are applicable to aquaculture. The practicalities of rearing an organism through the stages from reproduction to marketing.

This subject shares lectures, tutorials and practical classes with AQ2001.

Assessment by examination and assignments.
