TERTIARY ACCESS COURSES OFFERED BY THE SCHOOL OF INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIAN STUDIES

TERTIARY ACCESS PROGRAMS

1.1  Eligibility for enrolment

This course is designed primarily to meet the needs of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders. A person who is approved to enrol for the course will normally be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. Non-Indigenous Australian people may also apply to enrol in this course and acceptance is dependent upon a quota.

1.2  The course is available to applicants who complete, to a satisfactory standard, the assessments required to qualify for entry to the Programs.

2.1  Constitution of the course

The subjects selected shall be in accordance with the programs appended to these Requirements.

3.1  Requirements for completion of the course

To complete the course, a candidate must have completed subjects of minimum value of 24 units in accordance with these Requirements. The normal time for completion of the course is one year full-time.
