A critical analysis of the theoretical models of social work practice; the development of personal practice models.

Learning Objectives:

  1. critically examine a wide range of social work theories;
  2. critically examine differing implications of social work theories for practice;
  3. extend practice skills and decisions based on this critique;
  4. develop a personal practice model based on social justice principles.

Assessment by written work and class presentation.
