This subject focuses on the analysis of design fundamental and applies the theoretical knowledge to workshop exercises. It includes design in the artistic and the industrial domains.
Learning Objectives:
- develop the ability to understand the principles of design and apply them in a range of areas and materials;
- develop an understanding of perception and how the principles of design function in both the fine arts and design.
Assessment by practical projects, written evaluations and workshop participation. 80% attendance required.
