This will include an introduction to economic language as it applies to health systems including concepts of supply and demand in freemarket, oligopology and monopoly environments. Special topics related to the health industry will also be dealt with including insurance, supply of health personnel, health care costs, supply and demand of health services, cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis.
