Students will undertake a series of workshops in the first two weeks of semester to provide them with the necessary skills to conduct initial assessments and intervention for children, adolescents and their parents.
Learning Objectives:
- to conduct an initial interview with a client;
- to write a case report summarising assessment information obtained during an initial interview;
- to formulate treatment plans for clients on the basis of information obtained during an initial interview and the appropriate research literature.
Assessment by demonstration of clinical skills and written assignments.
