Minor Thesis

Prerequisites: OT5002

Contact hours at the discretion of individual student supervisors. Full year.

Available to students enrolled in postgraduate studies in Occupational Therapy with recognised prior learning as approved by the Head of Occupational Therapy.

Staff: Assoc. Professor J Trevan-Hawke.

Preparation of the minor thesis demonstrating the ability to analyse data, critically evaluate results and report findings in a scholarly manner.

Learning Objectives:

  1. demonstrate a capacity for original thought and independent research;
  2. analyse data, demonstrating use of appropriate methods;
  3. demonstrate ability to evaluate results critically;
  4. report findings through presentation of a scholarly thesis.

On-course assessment to include oral and written presentation (100%).
