Available to registered nurses enrolled in postgraduate courses in the School of Nursing Sciences.
This subject will include such issues as: effects of chronic illness; respiratory and cardiac disorders; diabetes management; infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B and renal disorders.
Learning Objectives:
- discuss the advanced nursing management of medical patients;
- describe the contemporary issues affecting patients who have chronic illnesses.
