Available to registered nurses with concurrent employment in isolated practice setting or documented access to concurrent clinical in isolated practice area.
This subject includes isolated practice; context of practice/legislative requirements; pharmacokinetics; client assessment and practice; client education, communication and collaboration.
Learning Objectives:
- achieve competence to practice under the isolated practice area, drug therapy, protocols;
- maintain contemporary knowledge and skills pertaining to drug therapy;
- provide culturally appropriate information to clients and carers about drug actions and interactions.
Assessment by case study/presentations, examination.
