52 hours workshops. Full year.
This subject will involve active performance in an approved large ensemble. Students will develop their skills on an instrument or in voice and enhance their knowledge of style and repertoire. They will take part in regular rehearsals and workshops and participate in performances both on the University campus and in the wider community.
Learning Objectives:
- develop skills in ensemble playing and performance;
- attain knowledge of group dynamics and skills in teamwork;
- continue musical development in an ensemble context.
Assessment by attendance at rehearsals, workshops and concerts (60%); effort and participation (40%).
