Professional Planning Work Experience

6 tutorials. Intensive mode, Wednesdays during first semester and all of August.

Available to all CTURP students.

Staff: Director, CTURP.

Work placement with professional firms, local authorities, statutory bodies and other organisations operating in planning.

Learning Objectives:

1. provide practical experience of the planning process;
2. allow students to relate their academic experience to the working environment;
3. gain first hand experience of the workplace;
4. develop professional linkages with potential employers.

Assessment by employer assessment (50%); professional work record (50%).
