Environmental Science Honours Project

Prerequisites: Credit averages in level 3 subjects including EV3001 EV3002 and EV3003; pass in an introductory subject in statistics or biometry

Full year.

Available to level 4 honours students in BAppSc (Environmental Studies).

Staff: Dr E Gyuris.

A supervised research project plus specialised reading and study for honours level candidates for the degree of BAppSc (Environmental Studies).

Learning Objectives:

  1. increased knowledge and experience of the processes and procedures required to undertake a successful independent research project in Environmental Science;
  2. improved skills in verbal and written communication and data analysis.

Assessment by research proposal and introductory seminar (5%); literature review (15%); thesis (70%); final seminar (10%).
