Behaviour Management

The subject will explore management of school students’ behaviour, at both the classroom and whole-school levels. It will examine major theories of behaviour management, proactive versus reactive management and formulating classroom and whole-school policies and plans.

Learning Objectives:

  1. proactive versus reactive management;
  2. options and issues in establishing systematic behaviour management at the classroom and whole-school levels.

Assessment by report (30%); discussion paper 1 (30%); discussion paper 2 (40%).
