Available to students enrolled in the Master of Commerce (coursework) program.
Review of the development of accounting theory and exploration of the impact of contemporary organisational and behavioural issues on management accounting.
Learning Objectives:
- demonstrate an understanding of the development of accounting theory;
- discuss the various methodologies employed;
- demonstrate an indepth knowledge and understanding of the impact of organisational and behavioural issues on management accounting.
Assessment by projects (70%); midsemester test (15%); class participation (including case presentation) (15%).
