This is an advanced, directed readings subject for students who wish to explore specific business management topics and issues in considerable depth. Based on the broad research interests of staff with the School or on the specialisations of visiting academic staff, this subject will be organised largely around the interests of individual students.

Learning Objectives:

  1. critical appreciation of the theories, concepts, methods and empirical knowledge used in particular specialist fields of business management.

Assessment by essay (40%); individual project (60%).
