This subject examines the specific decisions and operational issues that are unique to multinational organisations, such as international trade, foreign direct investment, international financial management, R&D strategy, international marketing and technology transfer.

Learning Objectives:

  1. critical appreciation of the theories, concepts, methods and empirical knowledge used in the field of international business education.

Assessment by group presentation/project (20%); individual project (5,000 words)(40%); three-hour examination or 3,000 word essay (40%).
