TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT STUDIES AND GEOGRAPHY
MASTER OF SCIENCE, MASTER OF APPLIED SCIENCE AND GRADUATE DIPLOMA OF SCIENCE
Graduate Diploma and Master of Applied Science degrees are available in each of the areas listed below. The Graduate Diploma programs are designed for students who wish to broaden their expertise away from the major discipline of their first degree and can include both undergraduate and postgraduate level subjects. The Master of Applied Science programs are designed for students who wish to consolidate and extend their undergraduate training by taking advanced coursework and some project work if required.
The Master of Science is primarily a research degree. Research projects may concentrate on any one, or a combination of, the five disciplinary areas of the School.

Each program requires a minimum of one year full-time study. Specialist strands of study may be selected, in consultation with the course coordinator. Students may also include subjects offered by other schools. These subjects should be selected in consultation with the Course Coordinator to ensure they are suitable for the program being followed.
