As in 1999 (as a consequence of the significant increase in 1999 in the fee for commerce, economics, management and tourism) the 2000 fee for Band 4 disciplines will apply only to DFP students who commenced their course on or after 1 January 1999. DFP students who commenced their course prior to 1999 enrolling in these disciplines will pay an increase of $5 per unit over the 1998 fee, in line with the increase in other discipline bands (ie students who commenced their course prior to 1999 enrolling in commerce will pay $280 per unit; and economics or tourism, $205 per unit).
