Students are advised that all subjects are offered on condition that staff and resources are available.
Students required to complete a placement with Queensland Health should be aware of the Queensland Health policy Management of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis V Virus and Hepatitis C Virus Infected Health Care Workers.
All students undertaking placement will be required to comply with that policy or any amended or substitute policy applying at the time of placement.
The policy requires immunisation for Hepatitis B. Further requirements may be added. A copy of the policy is available on http://www.health.qld.gov.au/infectioncontrol/guidelines.html and students should ensure that they read the policy before deciding to proceed to enrolment.
