Bachelor of Animal Science

The degree of Bachelor of Animal Science may be attained through study in either of two streams: Tropical Wildlife Science or Tropical Livestock Science. Training will focus on the biology and management of animals used for food and fibre production and of populations of wildlife and vertebrate pests. Relevant biological aspects will include concepts of comparative physiology, disease, nutrition, genetics, reproduction and welfare and scientific principles for the control and management of wildlife and vertebrate pests.
