PROTECTED AREA MANAGEMENT

Coordinated by the School of Tropical Environment Studies and Geography, the Graduate Diploma of Science in Protected Area Management and Master of Applied Science in Protected Area Management by coursework and minor project provides specialist training in the background, principles, techniques and practice of protected area management with a particular emphasis on tropical environments.

Prospective students should consult with the Course Coordinator, Mr P Valentine. Within the broad framework of the Award Rules, each student’s program, including weighting of coursework and research, can be tailored to the individual candidate’s background and requirements.
